Pocket Resume is an iPad application that guides its user through the usually difficult and cumbersome task of putting together a resume. After opening and naming the resume, the user merely needs to follow the simple instructions, and the outcome is a perfectly laid out resume containing all of the information that a prospective employer would require. Using the iPad application can be compared to filling in a form. The resume is divided into categories such as: basic info; profile; experience; education; skills; references, and other. Each category can be opened up, and all the user needs to do is fill in the blanks. The user is also able to test out a number of different styles and choose the layout, colours and look that best suites his/her requirements. Finally, the resume can be sent via email, or uploaded to a DropBox account.
